WALMART + SCREAMING BABY = BAD DAY

Okay, so here is my venting for today...usually Amber or Mike are the ones that get this, lucky you!
So I've been really needing to get to the store and keep putting it off. Finally today I go, yes with all three children! Shelby has been so sick and has now moved from the 'sleeping thru the sick' stage to 'crying all day long so mom can't get anything done' stage of being sick. She was acting fine so I put her in the carseat and loaded up for our venture to conquer WalMart. Shelby then cries most the way, I keep thinking she'll stop with the movement b/c I can't just turn around and go home. Well I stand at the deli counter for over 4 minutes. HELLO...stop talking to your friends and come attend to me, your customer with the screaming baby. Maybe she would have heard the service bell better if they had one. So this is the start of my quest, I have to finish and do so quickly. But then I discover that no one seems to work in the middle of the day on TUESDAY, because EVERYONE was at walmart. So I have Shelby in one arm, dragging the cart in the other. Kam is caged inside the cart with my groceries that are being sucked on and smashed and Lexi has been threatened with her life to stay behind the cart, holding to the bar. THis is how we toted around our train through the store. No one was helpful and seemed to love blocking any and all ways down the isle so we could not move anywhere. So I know that I have 3 children that I decided to bring to the store and that have worn my patience down to a zero, but come on! I'd hear people pass me "oh look at the cute little baby" and then Im sure they saw my angered face and went the other direction. Finally I get to a line to get the heck out of there...but wait, once again I have a poor judgement call and choose the WRONG checker. Okay kid, could you seriously scan ANY SLOWER!!! Do you really need to look at each and every product I bought? Whip those babies across and bag them. And if I had to watch him stop and move his hair out from his eyes one more time, I was gonna offer him a hair cut by ME personally and my razor! (and Mike will let you know how well those turn out!)
So during this llooonnggg process of checking out, I hear Lexi singing "turn that frown upside down and smile that frown away". okay, how cute. maybe I am being to hard on this guy. Minutes later: okay maybe not! So we finally get loaded in the burb and Shelby is crying again. Alright, I get to make a decision: sing primary songs with the girls or crank the radio. I chose the latter. great idea: turn music up loud, cant hear kids this way and I can release some anger. The whole time Lexi is yelling and crying in the back ground "I said I didn't like this song, I want the other song". If only we could all have our own way, good thing Im finally the mom.
Well there you have it...my vent fest! Thanks for listening. Now I'm going to try a Kelsie tactic and list some postive things about today (maybe it will make me feel better) :)

1. That I was able to have a sandwich for lunch today rather than mac-n-cheese. (thanks to my grocery trip)
2. That Kam still takes a nap.
3. Polly pockets (thats where lexi is right now)
4. That I have 3 beautiful little girls who are healthy.
5. My internet so I can blog
6. Im thankful that my husband has a job (so I can get these wonderful groceries that I enjoy shopping for so much)
7. That I was even able to walk around the store, thanks to my lovely fall I had Sunday.
8. Twilight, Im gonna go read it now since Shelby is finally sleeping

Thanks for reading, maybe my day will get better with a book!

A few photos from last week!

Lexi came home with this from church. She said she loves to spend time with her mom and dad. I thought this was cute! I kept it for blackmail when she turn 13...hehe!

My candy stash has been comprimised!! (by my TWO year old!) so funny story: the other day Mike saw Kamree standing on her stool in front of this drawer. He continued doing a few things and noticed she was still standing there. He thought it was kind of strange but kept going with things. Then he started to hear the banging of something (the drawer closing), he finally caught her in the act of sneaking licks on the lollipop! She had opened the lollipop and was sneaking licks when no one was looking!! Very clever little sneaky girl!! I loved it though, so funny!!

My brother, Burnsy

I have been thinking of my brother a lot lately. I love this boy so much. When he was gone on his mission, I missed him like crazy. I looked forward to every letter, email, and phone call. Jeremy made me want to try harder at everything and be a better person. He was such an example to me on his mission and I am better because of him. Jer came home in May and I was so excited to spend some time with him and catch up. Amber,Jer, and I had a wonderful time that first week off his mission. The 3 of us drove to Bear Lake to meet family and stay the night. We had the best talk there and back. Jeremy offered a prayer with me and Amber that night as siblings. It was the most memorable prayer I've had in a long time. I got up with tears in my eyes and remember thinking "wow, he is so spiritual and in-tune, I need to be more like him". Jeremy and I had a chance to catch up for a few days when everyone else was at work. I was able to hear many of his mission stories and read his weekly journal of reports to the President. He helped me on some advice and we even played some Guitar Hero. (I found ONE thing I could finally beat him at, of course it didn't last long! :) Then the summer got busy: I had to go back home, he had to work, and I had a baby. He is getting married in a few weeks, so I'm sure things will get even more crazy busy after that. We are growing up so fast and our lives are changing. I sure love those moments of just us 3 kids together reminiscing, we don't get too much of that anymore. But I just want to say that I love my brother (and my sister) very much. And I want to be able to help him and be there for him when he needs me, just like he has done for me. I love you Jer!!

Rock Climbing!!

We had our friend Cade's birthday last weekend. We had soo much fun!! We went to the Rec Center and the kids went rock climbing and swimming. Lexi had a blast. She got a bit scared after going about 5 feet up the wall, but really enjoyed swinging in the harness. I was so proud of her for even trying, she's usually such a pansy at those things! What a stud!! (I know Heather will be proud!) Then we got Kam to try, but she couldn't climb too well. Funny, seeing how she climbs the furniture, table, and counter so well! She loved swinging in harness as well, and keeps talking about it was "getting her neck". Shes a silly girl.
Thanks Wallace's for the fun time!
sorry I'm not doing so well at blogging right now. I'm preoccupied with many things right now. I will try to do better :)

Stupid SLC Parking people!!

I hate (I know this is a strong word, but I really do) parking ticket people and stupid parking signs! So on my girls weekend in SLC we went to the Gateway. I parked in the back were a million other cars were. Mike and I have done this every time we go there and have never had a problem. Well apparently I parked where I was not suppose to. The sign was very misleading and I even took some pictures to fight it. I placed the tickets in my console of the car and didn't think about it much after I got home. Then I got a notice in the mail doubling the citations to $60 each (yes there was two on my car with in 1 hour). So I call and call and call, not ever reaching a human to talk to, just a machine that can't answer any questions! I finally get to someone and they're rude and witchy and tell me if I have something to show them or argue then I need to come in...kinda hard when I live in IDAHO! So she tells me to email and I do. They blow me off with a few dumb excuses and don't even look at my pictures. Meanwhile I keep getting notices with the citations payment upping every time. I do not do well with stuff like this and arguing, I lose my cool to easily. So Mike did the calling and argued as much as we could. We finally gave up, seeing that we would never get anywhere with these people. The lady got B****y and said she didn't have to drop the amount, so I walked away paying $100 for the two tickets. Im real upset, seeing how this is really what I want to be spending $100 on right now...fabulous! But Im trying to look at the bright side of it being over with and it wasn't the $240 it was originally going to be. Pretty crappy day...and I'll never go to that dumb mall again. (unless its a saturday because they apparently do not ticket on that day, I went on Friday...darn it)

Tagged

I guess I'll try this tagged thing out.
6 interesting things about me:
1. I'd have to agree with Michelle here on babies. Although newborns are soo cute and small, I dont really enjoy it until after 3 months old. And my favorite age is 1 to 3 years old. Shelby is 3 months old next week and she's getting to be enjoyable and fun, plus I'm getting sleep...I love it!
2. I love to eat out. This is mainly because I hate to cook and don't want to dirty my kitchen. So this is the best of both worlds: I get to be served and my kitchen stays clean!!
3. I absolutely HATE laundry! No matter how hard I try, I can never manage to stay on top of it. I bust my butt all day long to get it all caught up, done and put away, then Im too tired to do it again for a week! I don't know that I will ever find something that works for me, although everyone digging in their own CLEAN clothes hamper has worked well in the past! :)
4. I'm just now getting into books! I must thank the girl in my ward who does book club! She gives me good, easy, quick reads that I get into. Then I read while nursing or at night in bed. I think I have read more in the last 6 months than in the last 6 years!
5. Okay this one is for Mike. It drives him nuts that I can't finish a pop or hamburger off. I dont know what it is, I dont think it's a mental thing, but he insists it is. I just dont like the last bit of anything...I know it's weird!
6. I HATE Milk! I don't know whats brought this on but I just can't drink it. I pour it in my cereal, but after the cereal is gone, I dump the milk in the sink. I LOVE Orange Juice and have to have a big glass every night at bed time. I also have to have it with cookies and brownies, everyone says how strange it is. But it is so yum yum yummy to me!!

So there you are...a little bit about me!

Happy Birthday to Kamree!!

Good morning birthday girl!!

Kamree just had her second birthday! We ask her how old she is and she say "free" with 5 fingers up. Sometimes she says "two" but we are working on it! She loved her two dolls she got. Grandma Sammy got her a cheerleader one that shouts a bunch of cheers, it's rather cute, but annoying at the same time. Lexi had the cheers memorized with in five minutes and I had to hide it from all the kids cuz we adults couldn't take it anymore! :) She is also pictured her with a doll she got from the neighbors. She didn't want anything else the rest of the night. This baby has not left her sight since her arrival in our home! Kam wanted to chow down on the cake after blowing out the candles. I wish I would of known she'd do that and I would have made her own cake, it was so cute.
Thank you to Ashley, Dani, and Kelsie for helping me with all the chaos I went through that day! They were so helpful with the kids, cooking, and the cleaning. Thank you soo much!!

Happy 5th Anniversary!!

November 1st was our 5th anniversary. We didn't get to go out: we had a friend's birthday and our nephew's baptism. But we did manage to get out for lunch...with the kids. We are hoping to get out on a date sometime this next week and actually celebrate.
We spent the evening in bed reading our books. I turned to Mike and said "do you feel like an OLD couple laying here reading?" He disagreed b/c he wanted to finish his book:) The night before we rented a movie and we couldn't even finish it b/c we were soo tired. yes...I believe we need some time away!
So..here are a couple of pics from our cruise last year, I wish we could go again! Here are some old pics of Mike and I when I was going thru photos trying to find some of just him and I.
Here are a few things I appreciate and love Mike for:
1. I love that he does the bedtime routine with the girls, it gives me a break.
2. I love that he lets me nap on Sundays no matter how long I zonk out for.
3. He is the best Dad ever, and the girls love him b/c he a lot more fun than me!
4. I love that he cooks me food 80% of the time, I hate to cook!
5. I am soo thankful that he works so that I may be a stay at home mom and more!
6. I am so happy he moved us here to Nampa. I absolutely love living here and love our home. I could stay here forever.
7. I love that during his 'bath time' he ends up letting me put my feet in and I get the foot rub from him:)
8. He is the best backrubber in the world!
9. I love that he always gets me food late at night when Im in bed complaining about how hungry I am. He is always so willing to serve me.
10. I love that he drives when we travel!

More Halloween pictures

Here is Lexi, Kamree, and Liv. We went to Nampa downtown for trick or treating. Yeah, we wont be doing that again! Too many people and not worth it. Luckily Ashley and Dani came with me because we had 4 kids and it was crazy. We waited in line FOREVER to see McGruff the dog and Lexi, Liv, and Kam all freaked out and wouldn't touch him. Kam literally started shaking. I only did it b/c I thought we'd get some neat safety stuff, but nope just 3 dumb pieces of candy!

Here are the girls before we went to knock the neighborhood. Lexi, aka Hannah Montana, was in her 3rd costume for the week. Yes, I finally gave in and let her be Hannah. She loved it and didn't want me to take off her 'hooker' makeup at the end of the night. Kam was happy to go trick or treating and was better at the doors than Lexi was. Shelby was a lady bug, but of course stayed in the stoller bundled up.

Here is our yearly photos of the pumpkin patch. Shelby kinda put a damper on us this year...we didnt get out and do much. Both times we went to the patch it ended up being cold and dark. But Lexi did get to do her bounce houses and the hay maze. She loved it
