New calling...

I taught my last sharing time two weeks ago. Our Primary Presidency was released, two of them were moving. [I'm sad that my real good friend Lara is moving out of our ward :( ]
So last week I was excited to have a "Sunday off"...or so I thought. Instead I was asked to sub and teach for Relief Society. I had this calling 3 yrs ago and loved it, so I thought I might as well, I had nothing else to do :) But little did I know, I would be called to Laurel Advisor later that day - so I taught the Young Women this week. So...kinda crazy teaching all three age groups in three weeks, back to back.
I must say -I'm actually missing Primary. I think I miss being with my girls, but I also felt like we all belonged there together. It was fun while it lasted - but now I get to be in YW. I'm excited about this new calling. It will be fun to get to know the girls and other leaders. It will be time consuming...teaching every Sunday. But then again, so was the Primary Presidency :)

Catching up with photos!

Here we are at State Track to watch my cousin Dillan. The girls had fun hanging out with Bryson. Zeb and Bryson even stayed at our house last night. It was fun having them over!

Lexi had a school carnival. We had a lot of fun. Here the girls were suppose to be 'bowling' but obviously we've been doing too much soccer because here Kam is kicking the ball instead!! haha:)

at the carnival there was a firetruck to climb into - they thought it was pretty neat!

Shelby loves to get into my braclets and wear them around

The girls climbed in bed with Shelby one morning - what will life be like without a crib? :)

Lexi lost her 2nd tooth!! - this time we didn't loose it

look... 2 missing bottom teeth!

trying to take a picture of a picture - not so good :(

bathtime fun

A beautiful rainbow above our house. It was the biggest I've seen, you could see end to end!

other half-

A few other things we've been doing are:

1-enjoying our new van. we get to take it on our 1st real road trip next month for Mike's niece's wedding. We have been enjoying it tremendously!!! the space is wonderful again and the DVD player has been great for yard selling :) We've owned it I think almost 4 wks now and I've vacumed it out probably 4-5 times. I'm trying to keep it clean :)
2-We went and layed the hard wood at Mike's parents. It was alot of work, but all the family got together and worked on it. It was fun to work together and be a part of the 'house'. It looks beautiful and is almost finished! We can't wait :)
3-I bought myself a cruiser bike. I'm sooo excited to own a bike to go riding. Now we are on the hunt for a bike trailer and for Mike to get a bike. We are wanting to do family bike rides in the evenings and over to the greenbelt to see the ducks!
4-Lexi is finishing up Kindergarten. She has loved it so much. They are working on their songs for a program. She loves to read and do math. We went on a field trip to the zoo - it was fun to be with her and her class, but it was freezing the whole time.
5-Lexi is going to be 6 in a week - yikes! she has her whole party planned out and talks about it non stop. First thing every morning and Last thing at night she's asking when we are going to get it all done.
6-Kam is getting so big. She loves to tak care of Shelby and help in the kitchen. She loves to watch movies and eat candy still. Her big thing right now is picking out her own outifts - and then changing about 3 times a day. Also her hair has to be down, she hates when I pull it up and its a fight. I'm thinking of cutting it short.
7-Shelby is such a cutie. I just want to squeeze her all the time. She has the cutest personality and is hillarious. She is way more adventurous then my other girls were. She has hit the stage where she hates to get into her carseat. It is a struggle EVERY SINGLE TIME! But one day soon she'll learn Momma Always Wins - it's happened with all three. She has also hit the 'taking the diaper off' stage already. Every day for a week I had to change the bedding b/c she kept taking her diaper off and then peeing in the bed. I hate doing the duct tape so the panties over top are working for now, but I'm sure it will only last another week til we need to pull out the tape - ugh!!
8-Shelby sings Rock-a-bye and Twinkle Little Star. She can also sing to the tune of Word World. She loves to give kisses and hugs. One day Kam was crying and Shelby went up to her and covered her mouth trying to make her stop, then gave her a hug. real sweet!!!
9- also I did a yard sale with a Emily. It was nice to make some extra cash off my junk :)
now our busy summer can start!! full of boating, trips, family visits, tball, and swimming to name a few :)

Sailboat!!

Mike and Kirk bought a sailboat earlier this past winter. They have been so excited to take it out. They have been out 5 or 6 times already. The girl have been on it twice and love it. It's alot of fun and we look forward to more days out on the water this summer.

The boat has a cabin that is fun for the kids to bunk down in and watch movies and play. Although Lexi loves to spend her time out on the front deck of the boat.
I'm glad they are enjoying it and not fearing it like I do! :)

Even better - All of them enjoy their life jackets, so they don't mind wearing them. Shelby doesn't want me to take it off and will wear it around the house! (I scored two of them at a yard sale for $1 and $2 !)

Nailpolish - oh my!

Kam came up to me one day and said "Mom, she took the lid off" and I thought "yeah yeah, I'll get to her"...thinking she had a pen.
Well I discovered that Shelby had OPENED a bottle of nailpolish on her own and painted it on her lips, hands, and dumped it down her jammies (of which are my absolute fav. pair and should have been boxed up by now b/c their too small).
I freak out - trying to figure out how to save the jammies. No such luck after a long day of trying numerous methods :( so I get Shelby washed up and clean. and just say to myself "well at least it was just the jammies and no where else".
Then later that night I discover nailpolish in a big area in the girls' room. I panic and get online to find some remedies. WINDEX - worked pretty good. got maybe 85% out, so I just snipped the tips of the rest. The next day I find in on our little kid recliner - oh man! oh well I can only do soo much. (I'm suprised it's made it this long without any damage) haha.
So here are pictures of how cute shelby was, cuz now I can laugh about it!!

lexi's soccer!

The girls love coming to the games

Here is Lexi being SPEEDY - she's #1

Her is our soccer-girl! :)

I'm way behind on blogging. Over the last month we've been incredibly busy and have lots of photos. The computer is so darn slow at uploading them to the blog so I'm going to try to get thru as many as I can.

Lexi has been playing her 2nd year of soccer. Mike is coaching this year and Lexi is playing good. She hasn't made a goal yet, but we have her last 2 games tomorrow. Every game she plays a little better and a little more aggressive. It's always fun to watch her (and Mike) running around. Lexi has 4 others on her team and they all go to her school. None are in her class, but it has been fun getting to know them and their families.

Go BLUE LIGHTING!!!!
