Too much Aladdin

I think we've been watching a little too much Aladdin around here :)

Lexi is doing BASKETBALL!

Here are just a few pics of Lexi at her first Basketball game. We were stomped on by the other team. We hadn't yet had a practice - so no one even new what to do. But the other team is very talented for 1st graders!

Since then Lexi is improving and actually has made some good shots. We got her a ball to practice dribbing - it's fun to watch her play.

My MAC makeup

So when we moved here to Nampa 5 1/2 yrs ago - my friend Tifani and I went to the mall. She raved about MAC makeup and how she loved it, I tried it and became addicted. I'm so happy though that finally in my life I found the right coverage/color that works for me, so I have to stick with it. Although it costs $25 a bottle (ouch) it lasts me about 6 months.
So I was very excited when I found out that our Macy's here in Nampa has a MAC store -because then I no longer need to drive to the mall in Boise. This has been EXTREMELY convient for the last 2 yrs or so. I know Boise is only 30 min away, but I RARELY go there - especially the mall. All my shopping is done here in Nampa.
So when I was running low on foundation last week, I kept telling myself 'get over to MAC'...but I kept putting it off b/c you know, it is on the otherside of town :) So I finally loaded the kids up and got over there yesterday (b/c I was scrapping the bottle to get anything out) and you wont believe it.........they were GONE, nada, cleared out, empty! ahhh!!!! where did they go? I asked a girl at the other makeup counter and she said they just left the day before :( Are you kidding me? If I would of just been on top of things - I could of had my makeup in my hands last week.
So today guess what I had to do? Yep, load up AGAIN, but this time going into Boise. So you wont believe this either.....I get there and they are out of my makeup! SeRioUsLy!!!! is this really happening? I was so mad - The lady gave me a tiny (Like one day maybe worth) sample to take to hold me over b/c even she was completly out. So she said she'd call when they get some in this week - just what I need, another drive into Boise. Crazy huh?
So chalk this one up for lesson learned! lesson: when getting low order makeup instead of waiting until completely out, then either call and make sure it's in or order online!
Mike said "well why didn't you call first?" uh, cuz I have never had to before, its always there, just like milk is always at the store.
And one more weird thing: I dreamt this whole thing last night! strange huh?
