I got 2 tickets to paradise!!

We went on a date Friday night with our friends the Roetto's. We haven't been on a date w/o kids in a long time. It was a way fun night full of 80's fun!!
We had VIP tickets to Eddie Money...so we had a free
dinner, sat at a table with desert for the concert, and enjoyed some
pelvic thrusts from a mid 50 year old man...it was great! :)
I think some of the best highlights were watching the older women in the crowd and seeing Eddie Money's daughter on stage in skin tight leather pants!
We had a real fun night full of laughs. Thanks Roetto's for inviting us and sharing the fun! (I hope Lara's not mad I posted her picture!)

Swim Lessons complete!

here is Lexi completely under water

We are finally done with Swim Lessons. They were fun for the girls, but I'm glad to have my day freed up again :)
Lexi passed and does so well now with water. She goes completely under w/o pluggin her nose and is close to swimming.
We are looking forward to lots of swimming this summer, however I'm nervous about doing it alone with 3 kids...hopefully Mike will be able to come with us.

Quilt

I finally finished the quilt for Shelby! I had cruised right along until I reached a diffucult point. I had then picked out 2 of the seams...BIG mistake. Then it just sat there for months. But yesterday a friend helped me work on it and now it's complete. It's not perfect, but it's done. And it's June so Shelby doesn't really need a blanket anymore, but it's cute! Yay :)

Baby Shelby at 10 months

Shelby is 10 months and is becoming very active. Last week she started crawling, it's this cute skoot she does with one leg. She also started clapping a couple of weeks ago. She now can get into many things...so the girls are working on keeping 'little stuff' off the floor. I'm in that stage of life again where the floor is to be vacummed and swept ALL the time, it seems like I just got out of this stage with Kamree :).

Shelbs seems to be entertained more easily now, which is nice. The girls love playing with her. Shelbs loves being on the baby swing out on the swing set and the girls enjoy pushing her. She seems to always want to eat...real food that is. She has no interest in her bottle anymore. She absolutely loves lasagana (I think it's because I'm such a great cook...kidding!) She likes appleasauce, yogurt, and oatmeal. But I love giving her finger foods, its much easier. She likes: veggies, fruits, crackers, pasta, and chicken. The down fall to the finger foods...what a MESS! Her is a cute video of her covered in food, pulling some funny faces. What a cutie!

Swim Lessons

Don't you just LOVE the goggles? So geeky looking! :)

Lexi's in swim lessons and has been going GREAT! She was shy the first day and wouldn't go to the guy teacher, just the girl. But she is loving it now after a week into it. We bought her some goggles and she's loving it even more. She is turning into quite the fish...which is great b/c we really want her to like the water. She can now go under water without plugging her nose and will jump in. Today she said "Mom, you want me to sit at the bottom? Watch". I am soo proud of her. Kam also swims in the kiddie pool while Lexi's at her lesson. Kam is enjoying the water as well, though she wont put her head under yet.

Water balloons!!!

This weekend was Lexi's birthday. She has been planning a "makeup" party since Feburary...so of course, we did a "makeup" party. She invited 8 girlfriends and we did our makeup and painted our nails. We also played with water balloons, which was a HUGE hit!! Luckily Grandma and Grandpa Tondini, and Aunt Kim stayed because it took all 5 of us adults for the party. Grandpa Tondini, Kim, and Mike all got the balloons ready, my mom helped with the little girls that were sad and got them to be involved, and me and my niece Lindsay did the girls' makeup and nails. It was crazy around here, but lots and lots of fun!!
Afterwards, G&G took the girls to Build a Bear. Lexi picked a lamb and Kamree picked a shaggy dog (with a little swaying on my part) She wanted a blue bear, but the dog was sooo dang cute!)
The girls had a blast and enjoyed every minute of it. Then we did dinner afterwards and Kelsie and Joe met up with us. We had a wonderful, busy weekend.
Lexi was soo excited to turn 5 and can't wait to start school. We registered her last week. We start swim lessons next week and she's pumped about that as well. I can't believe how big she's getting and how grown up she is. The time has really gone by fast.
Love that Girl!!!!

Catch-Up Time

Well I just got done downloading my photos and realized how far behind I am. I have Lexi's birthday, Kam singing, Shelby squealing, and Lexi's soccer. The older girls went to stay at my mom's for a week. I know, it's a long time and I NEVER do this. But I had a lot to get done this week, and Mike and I are really enjoying alone time with Shelby and eachother. It's so quiet with the girls gone, I have to have the radio or TV on for noise. Shelbs is being good and Mike and I are having time with eachother...we never have this.
I just got called to be the 1st couns. in Primary so this will keep me a bit busy. But I'm excited for a change. Plus one of my real good friends is the pres. should it should be lots of fun. Lexi is pretty excited to have me in Primary with her.
I will see how much blogging I can get done this week...Even with the girls gone, I still have endless projects. Right now I'm working on my yard sale stuff for this weekend. Bright side: I really haven't had to clean since the girls left! :) hooray! lol
