Fun with some friends!

Heather and me at Sonic (okay, so Lexi's photography wasn't too great, kinda dark!)

INVASION begins!

Feeding the nice geese...before they started invading!

Hadley was so tired, she fell asleep in the swing!

My friend Heather (an old college roommate) came up for a day. We met up for lunch and then hit a park to play and feed the geese. The girls had a blast together and became instant friends. Heather and I had a great time catching up! :)
The park was crazy HOT at 85 degrees! I forget how hot it gets here in the summer time, I'm just so thankful I will not be pregnant this year! yay!!
The girls wanted to go feed the ducks...it started out okay. But then the invasion began and geese were surrounding us! The girls were so scared and crying, but all Heather and I could do was laugh! It was hillarious, though I have a fear for birds :) You should check out the video on her blog of the geese following us to our cars (okay it's 8am and I can't figure out the link thing...her page is listed on my side bar, Heather and Travis).
In the end, we had a blast! Wish we could see Heather's family more often :(

Honest People

Thank goodness for honest people....that, or I'm just lucky. I woke up this morning and went to throw the diapers out in the trash and to my surprise...the garage door had been left open ALL night! Normally this would not happen b/c I had a good neighbor across the street that would let me know...but she has moved away, therefore leaving me to be responsible for my own garage. Well, obviously that isn't good :) LOL
(This is not the first time that my neighbor's moving has hindered me!)

We are very lucky seeing how the keys were in the car and there was a bunch of stuff that could have been stolen: bikes, strollers, food, tools, shop vac, furniture...you know, the list goes on and on. So thankful nothing happened.

Maybe my city isn't so bad after all! :) haha

Movie Reviews

This was my favorite scene on Yes Man though :)

So I have decided to do a movie review for the week. Mike and I are always looking for good movies to watch, so if you have any suggestions...pass them on!
Here are the latest four we have watched and what I thought of them:

Bedtime Stories

Good movie! Really enjoyed it...even for an Adam Sandler movie! I don't love him much, but this movie was good and Lexi was even able to watch it with us. Rent this one!

The Express

This was a good movie, we got it from Netflix so I'm not sure how old it is. I really enjoyed this one: its about a black boy who goes to play college football back in the 50's or 60's. Rent this one!
Seven Pounds

This was an okay movie, kinda just left you hanging the whole time and I didn't like the ending. I was sad all night....I wouldn't say not to watch it, but don't rush out to see it.

Yes Man

Dumb movie! Lots of inappropriate parts and I was disappointed. I love Jim Carey...but wouldn't recommend this movie. Now if you're like me, you are still going to watch it b/c your curious...so let me know what you think afterwards.

Another Ear Infection

Tuesday was crazy around here. I was running around all day getting stuff together for my Enrichment that night. Kam was super whiny all day and has been complaining about her ear hurting for like a month or more. So I gave her Tylenol and put her down for a nap. Not even an hour later, She's up screaming and grabbing her ear. I couldn't get her to stop...so as soon as Mike got home I ran her to the doctor. Sure enough, Ear Infection in both ears and he was surprised her ear drum hadn't ruptured. Poor baby, she was so sad and in so much pain.
So Tues. evening we were running around like crazy...Lexi's soccer, Kam to the Dr., and me to Enrichment. This nice lady at the doctor let me go in front of her because Kam was crying so bad. I was very thankful because I would of never made it for Enrichment on time...kinda important when you're incharge!
Kamree is feeling better though, thank goodness! We have never been as sick as we were this year. Crazy how it is all at one time!

*On the upside: A dentist here in the valley was doing an awesome deal
for those without Dental Insurance. Cleaning, X-ray, Exam, and whitening for only $49!!! I jumped on it since I haven't had my teeth cleaned in over 7 years! Anyway it wasn't bad at all PLUS I had NO cavities. Pretty great I must say! So see ya in another 7 years right? :)

Shelby is 8 months old!!

Shelby is EIGHT months old!! I can't believe how fast the last month has gone. She is so enjoyable to be around now and we love her soo much. Shelby loves her jumper and can really bounce high. Her favorite thing to do now is squeal. This is her way of getting attention from everyone, especially mom. She hates when I'm out of her sight, which is a pain when I walk behind her. Shelby is now known for her drooling (sp). She is constantly wet and there is always something in her mouth. I'm always putting her binky in to "plug" the drool, but it is more of a toy to chew on to her. :)
Shelby does not spit up anymore. Let me tell you just how nice this is!! We had gotten to the point where we would carry a towel around with us because a burp rag was just not enough. Now she is still wet, but not with stinky spit up! yea :)
Shelby is an awesome sleeper. She takes long naps, and is perfectly content to stay in her crib and play. I need to have her on her belly more so she can start crawling and moving. Mckoy started crawling last week, I'm hoping we can in a month or so.
Kam sure likes to boss Shelbs around and yells at her often. I have to remind her that she's just a baby and that Kam is not the mommy. Lexi loves to play peekaboo with Shelby. She hides behind her and pops out around her side. Shelby gets overstimulated and confused, moving her head from side to side. I have to remind Lexi to slow down and let Shelby see her every few times. They love their little sister.
Shelby is such a happy baby now and we are much happier. Now if I could just start on her baby book and room! Poor 3rd baby! :(

Play Group

I had PlAyGrOuP at my house today. It was suppose to be at the park...but it was windy. We are suppose to be in the 70's for the weekend and early next week :) [*That's right Amber, no snow here!! hehe*]

After playgroup Michelle stuck around to help me with some sewing (yes that quilt has been put on hold, hopefully done soon though). Tammy wasn't feeling good today and none of the girls wanted to leave. So we extended the play time and I made lunch for everyone. We had alot of fun gabbing it up and here is a picture of the girls waiting for food. We REALLY are in need of some BOYS around here!!

Easter Weekend

3 bugs in a tub

Spring is here!

Baby Shelby

coloring eggs

*****

I got on to blog and saw that like 6 other friends have already gotten the EASTER blogs posted, so here is mine in addition :)
Grandma and Grandpa Tondini came this weekend and we had a lot of fun. We did a little shopping, went to a wonderful Easter play my Uncle was in, went to Lexi's first soccer game, colored eggs, and much more! We enjoyed having them come stay, we always love to have guests. The girls loved showing them around to their classes at church and Lexi's school.
Mike and I made our first HAM, thanks to Rob being here for guidance and help. We also enjoyed some 7 layer bean dip (minus some layers) and drank lots of pop...including Grandma's yucky Pepsi.
They also brought us up some furniture they weren't using anymore...dresser, headboard, desk, and table. We are very excited b/c these are things we've been needing.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa...we enjoyed having you come visit!
