Shelby at 15 months

This little girl is definetly stubborn and in control...still no Walking!!!

She has no desire. We have gotten her to take about 4-5 steps from me to Mike, but only when

SHE wants to and rarely does it happen.

Meanwhile, she is very content with 'speed' crawling and climbing on everything.

She is very strong and we have to sometimes pin her down for a bum change when

she would rather be elsewhere playing. I took her in for her shots this week and

the nurse said this is the strongest baby she's had when pinning her down to poke her legs.

She has the cutest grin and says HI all the time...she still LOVES peek-a-boo.

She isn't sleeping as well as she use to...but she is congested and teething,

so hopefully her love for sleep (and ours too) will come back soon :)

Halloween!!

Lexi decided to be a Musketeer this year...the idea stemmed from the movie BARBIE and the Three Musketeers. I thought it was darn cute b/c she came up with the ideas: hat with feather, cape, sword, mask, and boots. She enjoyed the costume for weeks before. Who would of thought we'd have a cape and sword in this house full of girls???

Kamree was a "good" witch. I made her a cute tutu of black and purple. She looked adorable!! She wasn't feeling good that whole week and was such a trooper for the Trunk-or-Treat...kids will do anything for CANDY :)

Shelby was a butterfly. She is not walking yet, so we held her most the time...she didn't get to show her costume off too much.

The kids only dressed up for our ward Trunk-or-Treat. Halloween night both the younger girls were sick so they stayed home with Dad. Kam enjoyed handing out candy, she thought that was a blast. So I took Lexi out for some candy...we weren't going to miss out on the chocolate! It was a pretty uneventful weekend....but Target's 75% off sale and Walmart's 25 cent sale made up for it. I bought so many cute things for next year and bought a ton of chocolate to last a while :)

Kamree's THIRD birthday

Kamree's birthday was this weekend. I can't believe she is 3 already. Time really flys by. I love this little girl, she's always making me laugh. All day on her birthday she was a bit of a grouch. She wouldn't let me sing to her at all. I'd say "Happy Birthday Kamree" and she'd yell "NO!". What kind of kid doesn't want to be sung to on their special day? :)
I asked her where she wanted to eat for her birthday and she said "at home". I thought that was funny. We opened gifts Thursday night since we traveled all day Friday. We had cake for her on Saturday at my mom's. She had a good weekend and loved the new clothes and toys she got.

Crew's Blessing and Trey's Baptism

how sad...I didn't even get a picture of Trey. Here are the girl Dean cousins and Brock.

wouldn't I look cute with a little boy?

We went home this weekend because Jeremy was bleesing his baby boy.
I finally got to see my cute little nephew. He's a cutie and so little still.
We were also able to see Jeremy's new home. It was nice, I'm glad
we were able to spend time with him and his family.
***
We drove to Ogden on Saturday for our nephew Trey's baptism.
It was a fun weekend filled with both sides of family and 13 hours of driving.
***
We ended up leaving Kamree in Preston for a week.
She loves Mckoy and will have so much fun by herself.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to get alot done here and caught up on some things.

update on Kamree's hair

Well if a 2 yr old could do a good job cutting her own hair, my kid did. Damage control wasn't too bad for Kamree's hair. She has bangs now that are a pain hanging in her eyes, but they pin back okay. I trimmed some long strand so at least its even. They actually have that swoop look that is instyle. I'm still real sad though, maybe I'll cut the rest of her hair once the bang get longer.

Kamree's new hair-do!!

Kamree just chopped her bangs!! I seriously wanted to cry, her hair is soo pretty and one length. The only thing keeping her alive is that she kept the long and cut at her nose, so AT LEAST it's not ugly 2 inch length, right? aackkk!! I will have to even them out, and pin them up for a long time. Maybe we'll cut her hair to make it look okay. I'm real sad, but she is too. When I showed her the bangs she cried.
I was cutting stuff and got up to make a phone call. When I came back...she said "mom my barrett came out" so I put it back in, not noticing the new do. Then she said " I cut my hair, it's in that garbage" (well thanks for the honesty and cleanin up job...) So I look and it's a lot of hair so panic sets in.
Mike has been on me for getting the scissors put up for a while now, guess it's my fault and I will listen to him now.

Would you wear SOCKS in a BOX with a FOX?

So I decided to conquer the SOCK BOX today...I know, what was I thinking right? Well it HAD to be done, it's getting colder here and I've been getting comments from the bus driver for not having socks on my 2 yr old and for me wearing flip flops. (he's a nice old man from our ward) :)

So here are the stats-
matched pairs = 36
socks to small for any of the girls = 11 :(

Good news is I cleared the BOX out, bad new is...it seems we have a FOX that eats only one sock of many many many pairs. I think I'm going to buy a new set of socks for each girl, each with her own color. Then throw out and start again every year because I have decided I absolutely HATE matching, finding and washing SOCKS.

BTW - I did buy Lexi 6 new cute pairs of socks for school, of which only ONE pair is still around...I'm beginning to think something or someone really IS taking my socks :)
