Swim lessons!!

We have had a real fun and busy summer already and it's only June!! We have had lots of fun with family and friends staying over - we've started T-Ball - and we're doing swim lessons!!!
The girls are loving swim lessons - Kamree and Lexi are both doing it this year. Lexi luckily got the same teacher as last year, this helped her to hop right in and pick up where they left off. She is loving the water and working on her back float :)
Kam has been a swinging pendelum. First two days were ok, she was shy and reserved. the next 3 days it was a struggle to get her in the water. I was getting upset thinking she would never go in. But we worked on getting use to the water this weekend in the tub and did ALOT of bribery. It started with an icecream cone, then bubble gum, then ended with a new carseat! I'm not that much of a sucker mom, we have been wanting to get her one soon anyway - but this was our ticket and she has been so happy since we got it. Today she went right in to the water - grew like a flower (the teacher pours water on their head and this was the first day kam let them do this) and she put her face in the water multiple times. I was soooo proud of her and so was her teacher. Kam had a huge smile on her face the whole time - I hope it lasts for the rest of the week :)

Fun with Dan and Nicole's family!!

Blazer!

The girls!

Wii time!!!

Good morning!

Boys will be boys!

Kam and Liv -
Kirk and his family hung out with us mostly every night too. We had lots of fun with many kids running around :)

Berlyn and Shelby
-we thought it was a cute photo op to get the backs of the girls, but sure enough once we went for it, they turned around -

Dan and Nicole's family came to Idaho for a week to visit all of us. We had a blast with them! We worked on the house in Grandview over Memorial weekend - we got the tile layed out and it looks fabulous! Then Dan and his family came into Nampa for a few days. They stayed at our
house and the kids had a blast. We went out to the lake, lots of shopping, a movie with just the girls, playing, talking, and eating. The kids hung out til late everynight enjoying their 'cousin' time and we never got to bed before midnight - we even had a few 2-3am ers!!!!
We loved having them to visit and wish we could see them more often, hopefully one day they will be able to move back to Idaho so we can see them more.

Thanks for coming Dan and Nicole! We love you guys - can't wait to see you again this weekend :)

Lexi's Kindergarten Graduation

Lexi and her teacher Mrs. Rich

Lexi had her Kindergarten program. She received her diploma, sang songs, and had refreshments. It was a fun day!
I'm excited for her to go to 1st grade because she loves learning and is soo excited to go back to school. But I'm also sad that she will be gone all day :( I will miss my little girl and worry about many things, such as: will she eat her lunch, will she be ok on the playground with the older kids around?...
I guess this is just all part of letting them grow up - and growing up is what she is doing! aahhh!

Lexi loved her teacher and so did I. She was great, I hope Lexi gets another good one in 1st grade. I had a fun spending time in Lexi's classroom and with her classmates. We are excited to see which friends will continue with her to her new class :)

Usually it was Mckoy hugging Shelby and her resisting. :)

Amber, Kelly, and Mckoy came to visit us over Memorial Day/Lexi's Bday. We loved having them over. We always love when they come and stay, especially cute little Mckoy. The girls love him and he's so fun to have around. We had a busy weekend, here are some things we did:
-shopping at Target: twice
-shopping at Walmart: twice - don't ask why, I'm not sure myself :)
-The boys went out to the lake fishing
-Lexi's bday party
-Mike and I had a ward dinner, so Amber took the girls with her to our Aunt Cindy's.
-Mario Kart!!
-baked cupcakes for Lexi's class and helped in her classroom
-bbq and of course 7 layer bean dip - yum yum!!

Thanks for coming guys - it was lots of fun :) Can't wait to see you again.

Lexi's Birthday

Lexi wanted a BEACH themed party this year. She invited her friends from school. We gave all the girls flip-flops, a lieu, and a goody bag. The weather wasn't the best for a beach party - but we managed to still have some fun.
We had pizza and pop, cake and icecream, played with water balloons, and played musical towels. We listened to the beach boys - it was fun. Luckily my sister was here to help out because a bunch of 5&6 year olds running around was kinda crazy.

I can't believe our little girl is 6 already! The time has gone so quickly. She's going to 1st grade - when did she grow up? I love this girl, she's my little side-kick. She is a good little helper and loves her little sisters. She is so kind and caring for others. I'm excited to have her home with me this summer - she has finished soccer and now we're starting Tball and Swimming!
Happy Birthday Lexi - love you :)

Happy Birthday!!

Lexi's best friend Abby

CAKE!!!

Lexi gets her ears pierced!!!

8 - right after...she cried for a second then had a huge grin plus tears on the cheek. She loves them :)

7 - ouch

6 - here we go...

5 - getting ready...

4 - motherly chat trying to calm her down - and at this point trying to make her do it b/c we were already there and I knew she'd love it but was just scared.

3 - started getting nervous: lady brings out the suckers early

2 -takes a seat: still excited

1 - right when we get to the store: super excited

Lexi came up to me about a week before her birthday and says "I decided I'm gonna do it mom!" And I said "do what?" and she said "pierce my ears!"
We hadn't really been talking about it lately - but I said let's wait til the weekend and do in on your birthday. She said that would be fine - but it had to be BEFORE her birthday party so she could show everyone.

So my sister and I took her to WalMart to do them and her is our funny story
(in backwards order):
