Shelby's 11 months!

(no, your eyes are not playing tricks on you...this little girlie is really smiling in all the pics, no crying this time...big improvement, I know!) lol

Shelby turned 11months this week....she's such a cutie. This last week or so has been so fun with her. She's changing everyday.

We can actually put her down now and cook/clean/leave she doesn't scream for us...this is a huge peace for us :)

Here is a list of some stuff she's doing:

* enjoys crawling around, even on grass

* follows the girls around and wants to be where they are

* still hobbles along for a crawl, dragging the right leg. It looks like she may have gotten a rug burn on that leg :(

* has no interest in standing or pulling herself up on furniture

* loves to eat

* hates to lay down for diaper changes, it has to be a quick process or she crawls off real fast

* still has only the 2 bottom teeth, the top two look like they'll break thru soon. I really could go for LESS drool!

Mckoy's first bday

We went home for Mckoy's FiRsT Birthday!!! He is such a little cutie...and all SMILES! :)

His dad, Kelly, made this cute dinosaur cake...(that Mckoy then broke out in a rash too...poor little guy)

We had a fun 4th of July weekend filled with fireworks, food, hanging with family, volleyball, and seeing my brother.

We went to the fireworks with some friends from our ward. It was a lot of fun...we went to a golf course, so the kids were able to run around all night playing games and chasing each other. Here are some pictures of a bunch of the kids...you can see how dominant the GIRLS are among the group.

Summer fun!

We finally set up Shelby's little pool so she could play outside with the big girls. She LOVED it...although so did the big girls. I had to keep kicking them out of the little pool. Shelbs got some special treatment (warm water) and the older girls wanted in on the warmth...it was soo hot that day, who wouldn't want cool water? :)

Mike was able to get our awning put up. It's been sitting in our yard for over 2yrs now...we finally put our shoulder to the wheel and *BAM*...instant shade! It's wonderful...I don't know why we waited so long. We are really enjoying it and now we want a patio table to enjoy outside.

Lexi's Hair Cut

I've been pretty behind on blogging lately. We've been real busy and have been taking a ton of pics, so I have to pick and choose which ones to post. About a month ago I decided to chop Lexi's hair off. I was getting sick of the snarles and her crying...it has been a wonderful thing. Lexi loves it and so do I. It's made my life easier to get out the door with one less head of hair to style...and she's been working on washing it herself in the tub. Hooray :)
